I was told to quit eating my beloved Fiber One Cereal and oatmeal because 1 in 3 people are allergic to grains, stop drinking flavored water including Propel (NOW I really am sad) because they are loaded with sugar - which is probably why I like them so much, and never drink Lactaid because it's not good for you.
Dr. Osborne was kind enough to order TONS of blood tests for food allergies, vitamin deficiencies, genetic pre-dispositions to disease, and a general cbc, lipid profile, thyroid test, and hormone test. Can I say I just can't wait to get to the lab?? I was given my very own lab testing kit complete with instructions prior to my 12-hour fast in anticipation of the blood work - gift wrap not included.
I checked in this week at a healthy (NOT) 33.5% body fat. UGH! Should be at 25% max. He assures me that I will not stay this way once I get my test results back and start my new "wellness program". Let's hope he's right!
